Out of Redundancy - Into the Future

Being made redundant can be the push that some people need to start their own business but for others it is an unexpected and traumatic shock resulting in a knock to their confidence. Some organisations make excellent provision for their employees while others offer very little in terms of practical and helpful support to help their employees enter the job market.

The emotional impact of redundancy can have a devastating effect on the self-belief of the employees which, in turn, adds to the already challenging task of finding work; this important aspect is often overlooked by both the company and the individual.

Out of Redundancy- Into the Future is a one day interactive programme specifically designed for people who have been made redundant or who are facing redundancy. It covers:

  • the emotional impact of redundacy and how to deal with it
  • confidence-building techniques
  • eliminating fears, anxieties and blocks associated with an uncertain future
  • structuring and writing a first class CV
  • writing letters of introduction to potential employers
  • current interview protocols and advice

Co-delivered with Dawn Bates (www.oer-solutions.co.uk), this programme provides a supportive environment in which particpants will be given practical and realistic help by unbiased and professional facilitators with more than 35 years combined experience respectively in recruitment and confidence building.
