Whether your sports activity is a hobby, a way to keep fit or a more competitive pursuit you can probably improve. It makes no difference whether you are a keen amateur, a semi-professional or professional athlete there is always room for improvement.

As any top sports coach will tell you, once you know the basics of your chosen sport it is vital to also work on the mental side of your game. What this means in practice is addressing your beliefs about your performance – the negative self-talk that suggests that you can never progress above a certain level. In golf, this may be achieving a handicap below 10; in tennis it may be hitting an ace on your second serve; in football you may believe that scoring a goal against a particular rival club is impossible. Whatever your unconscious beliefs are, they will undoubtedly be impacting your level of play.

The reason that Ryder Cup golfers, Davis Cup tennis professionals and Premier Club footballers have off games will have something to do with the self-talk and the mindsets of those players. The reality is that we all have off days – days when our self-belief takes a hammering but the good news is that there is a fast and effective solution that together we can use to improve your sports performance irrespective of whether you only play for fun on a Sunday afternoon or competitively several times a week.

What Happens During a Session?

I will accompany you to your golf course, tennis court, football pitch or athletics ground and work with you while you play or practise. In this way we will be able to quickly and accurately identify the areas which need improving and easily measure the level of improvement that you achieve once we start working on them.

I work with individual players, a couple of players or entire teams and if you currently have a coach I will be happy to work alongside them to help improve your game.

My technique is suitable for any sport and can be used with any age group which means that it is ideal for schools and colleges as well as older amateur and/or professional players.
